WOODSTAR PARTNERS WITH OLD COMPTON BRASSERIE TO LAUNCH DRY JANUARY INITIATIVE 

We are delighted to announce we have partnered with Old Compton Brasserie, part of London’s leading restaurant and club group Maxwell’s, to launch a new Dry January initiative. As the drinking rate among British adults hits its lowest in eighteen years, our partnership will see Old Compton Brasserie provide complimentary glasses of Woodstar to all those actively looking to reduce their alcohol intake in January.

The initiative will run throughout January 2019, from Sunday to Wednesday, and Woodstar will be served at both lunch and dinner sittings. Following research from Alcohol Change UK, that revealed 4.2m people plan to participate in Dry January 2019, our partnership will allow guests to partake in the same ritualistic experience, traditionally associated with wine, without the high alcohol content. 

Woodstar was originally created to ensure everyone feels part of the same out-of-home experience, whether they’re drinking alcohol or not. We also think it’s crucial for low/no alcohol drinks to deliver maximum taste, as well as looking and feeling the part. 

Our partnership with Old Compton Brasserie ensures that everyone can keep times special even when they are choosing not to drink.
